Both of us were in our high school band for all 4 years. Charlie played the trombone and was in the row directly behind Trinity who played the bass clarinet and Trinity just didn't turn around until our Senior year. We started talking in the band locker room in the morning and then we would start inviting each other out to smoothies and new food spots. We would officially start dating January 15th, 2018!

We would pass coded notes in the hallway, ranging from different languages and binary code.

We enjoyed spending time trying new food, competing in board/video games, and watching silly movies together.

After 5 months, we graduated from high school! We would find out pretty late in the game that we were both on the same summer Europe tour through a school program, it was a nice and honest surprise. We got to spend two weeks traveling with each other and friends through Europe and made many wonderful memories.

We did not go to the same college or go to college in the same state, we were 700 miles apart. Trinity went to Kansas State University in Manhattan KS and got her Bachelor's in Business Admin. Charlie went to the University of Dayton in Dayton Ohio and got his Bachelor's in Physics and minor in Math and Philosophy. For four years, it was phone calls and face times during the semester , and balancing time with family and dates during the holidays and breaks.

The summer of 2022 we both moved to Columbus Ohio! Charlie would begin his academic journey to getting his masters and PHD in Physics at The Ohio State University and Trinity would start her HR career path.

We made more friends, more date nights trying new food, and collecting more board games to play with our loved ones.

Summers are always full of new adventures for us, we adopted our dog Biscuit the summer of 2023. He joined our family at 15 weeks old and has been our puzzle loving social butterfly ever since.

Biscuit goes to daycare once a week and he loves playing with all his friends and the daycare attendants. We usually get cute photos of him posing for the camera but there was a period of time he couldn't go to daycare due to his health and we got this gem of a photo on his first day back.

Charlie proposed on March 15th, 2025. He had written a letter in binary code and the letter at the beginning of each sentence wrote out ' Will You Marry Me'.
